Find or download a notebook app on your phone. Now that you know the basics, here’s a simple workflow that you can use to start capturing ideas today: The ideas in your consolidated sheet are those that stood the test of time and are good enough for you to act on. Usually, you’ll have a lot fewer ideas that make it onto this list than in your various notebooks. This spreadsheet acts as a single launchpad that I can use whenever I’m ready to sit down and write. The more you practice, the better you get at recognizing ideas in the wild and remembering to capture them.
